Things To Do When At The Campground

At Natural Bridge Cabin Campground, not only is there a plethora of campground activities that you can sign up for and sites to see nearby, but there are plenty of other activities that you can participate in besides just camping or hiking trails. Here’s a list of campground activities you might enjoy:

Exploring The Campground

Take some time to orient yourself with our spacious campground. Bring your family on a walk and find out all the different locations that you can spend the day while staying with us at Natural Bridge Cabin Campground. Spend the day exploring and come back and sit around the campfire. Make sure to bring some s’mores for the little ones to enjoy. Go around the circle telling scary stories or share old stories from your childhood with your family and friends.

Go Fishing

At our campground, you can find yourself amongst recreational fishermen and for good reason. You’re allowed to fish at our stocked pond! Make a competition between your family or friends to see who can catch the biggest monster or the most fish at the end of the day. If you’re lucky, you could even catch a bass large enough to feed your family dinner for the night!

Play Sports

If you’re not so into fishing or taking walks, and enjoy more vigorous activities, we also have designated areas for other campground activities. Some of our popular areas are the areas where you can play sports. Gather around and pick your team of players to play a quick half-court game of basketball. Bring on the challenge and play full-court. If you’re feeling adventurous enough, convince your campground neighbors to form a team and play against you. We also have a set up for those who enjoy playing volleyball. Maybe you’d like to forego having to gather players for a team, you can play singles horseshoes too, if that’s your thing.

Participate In Karaoke

Test out your musical abilities and participate in our karaoke time! Whether you are an avid singer or someone that just likes to have fun, partaking in karaoke is always a blast. Bring your family and see who should really try out for a talent TV show, and who should keep their singing to the shower. At the end of the day, it’s all about having fun and karaoke is a great ice breaker. It’s a great way to get to know your campground neighbors and a chance to potentially make lifelong friends.

Watch A Movie

Another fun activity that you and your family can partake in is watching a movie! Gather your family for some relaxing time after a long day of adventures and sit back with some popcorn to watch the latest movie. Watching a movie anywhere but home is always a treat as you can really get into the plot without having your mind constantly reminding you of all the tasks you have yet to finish around the house.

Dip In The Hot Tub

Take a dip into the hot tub at the end of a long day of hiking the trails. Feel your muscles slowly loosen as you lay your head back and enjoy the calmness of the wind blowing through your hair. As the hot tub does its job relaxing you, take in the stunning landscape as the sun sets behind the mountains and let your worries disappear.

Hiking Trails

Another one of the popular campground activities many campers are fond of is hiking. There are hiking trails where you can grab your furry friend and go exploring in. Or bring your whole family and see who can find the most native species around. Test yourself and see if you can tell the difference between the different flora surrounding you or whether you even know the correct name for each species you encounter. Your aspiring archeologist will have a blast identifying all the new geological features they don’t normally encounter in your hometown when on one of our hiking trails.

Check Out The Creek

We also have a little creek which many of our campers enjoy. Take a swim in our creek, or see if you can spot a school of fish swimming around. Or simply enjoy the sound of the water trickling down the way.

Love this camp. Staff is helpful and friendly, and .ost of the sites are in the shade for a good portion of the day due to the surrounding hills.
