Overview

Go primitive camping in Kentucky with our campsites stationed along the perimeter of the campground. While there are no electrical or water hookups at these sites, guests enjoy free access to the bathroom and shower facilities. Enjoy our stocked fishing pond during your stay. With easy access to Mountain Parkway, you’re only 10 minutes away from most area attractions, grocery stores, and Natural Bridge State Park.

Policies

Reservations for primitive camping in Red River Gorge, Kentucky are a 2 night minimum on the weekend and 3 nights on some holidays.
Check in is 2 pm and check out is at noon.
RV and tent camping are both available here.
Walk in reservations are available but rates are higher for walk ins.
2 tents per site. Additional tents for the extra fee.
4 people per site. Extra people are $5 per person per night.
2 cars per site. Extra cars are $5 per car per night.
Must cancel 7 days in advance for a full refund.
After 10:00 pm quiet hours begin until 8:00 am.
All campers must register at the shelter before setting up the site. A car pass is required.

Payment due at time of reservation.
Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside (no running loose no matter the size of the dog). Dogs cannot be left unattended at the campsite unless they are secured in an air-conditioned RV. Please pick up after your pet and be courteous of other campers by controlling excessive barking.
All campers must pick up and dispose of any trash at their site including cigarette butts and any unburned trash in the fire ring. Failure to do will result In a fee.
Everyone can use the catch and release fishing pond. Please abide by the rules.
