I'd recommend this peaceful campground! The grounds and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff. It's close by the gas station, subway and restaurants and just a few minutes from all the trails.

Do the electrical hookups work well for my RV?

All RV hookup sites feature well-maintained 30amp and 50amp electrical hookups and water. A sewer dump station is available onsite.

Is the campground under new management?

Yes. The campground was acquired last year by Red River Gorge Vacations. We brought in an all-new management staff who are focused on guest comfort and hospitality.

Are the RV sites shaded?

Some RV sites offer more shade than others. They are all 20-30 feet wide, and can accommodate most RVs and motorhomes.

Are the bathrooms well maintained?

All our facilities are maintained daily. It is our goal to keep our facilities clean at all times. Our current bath house is in an older building. We are in the process of upgrading all our facilities.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets cannot be left unattended at the campsite unless secured in an air-conditioned RV. You must pick up after your pet, and no loud or excess barking is allowed.

When my husband and I took over management of the Red River Gorge Campground in 2020, we made it our mission to bring a positive, hospitable energy to welcome all our guests.

For us, it’s about the little touches that make your stay special. Sometimes, our guests might forget a hose or extension cord. If we’ve got one to lend, it’s all yours for as long as you need it!

When you stay with us, we want to make you feel like you’re staying with old friends. Based on how many people fall in love with our campground and come back season after season, we hope you’ll become just that.
